I guess it depends also the type of job ... Some sectors have better chances to find on LI than others ...

@sullybiker targets and commissions ! That's the only goal I've seen they had.

@sullybiker I never had good experiences with recruiters ... They promise you the moon, and it's only dull words ...

@sullybiker hahaha we had the same case ... a guy proposed a web developer for a SRE position. The guy said, I dont know why he sent me here ...

@utahcon argh ... exactly the kind of things that is time-consuming for nothing ...

@mike, what an influencer ! He boosts one of your toot and you get a lot of replies πŸ˜…

@wholesomedonut Lucky you ! Got only annoyed there ... And, to be honest, I'm not a big fan of Microsoft so i feel better every time I can avoid one of their products :)

@globcoco Used to look on monster, remoteok or any job offer portal.

Where do you look for jobs those days ?

@sullybiker Sure but some job website are asking for a profile there ... πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

@obsolete29 As I said in my previous toot, apparently some companies want/force you to follow them or even have a LinkedIn profile to be able to apply to the job. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

@globcoco That friend wanted to apply for a job, only available through LinkedIn, and at the end they force you to "follow" them or you can't even send your resume πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

@onepict Have some of my friends there ... Now looking for a new contract, some website asks you to have a LikedIn account, a thing that I dont want to have anymore..
